SCAM. A text message pretending to be from Halifax saying that a new payee has been added, with a link to a website if it wasn't you who set it up. The website isn't Halifax either.
Said they were from Amazon on computer generated call, saying my Prime subscription was due and to press 1 to do some thing. Already had a call from 02088530167, seven (7) minutes earlier with the same message.

Call from "CCN" apparently my details passed by MIB. Could not answer how or why my details were passed nor what the alleged "incident" related to or when it supposedly occurred. When I repeatedly asked for clarification, and said that if they could not answer my questions they should remove my details and never contact me again, they hung up. Reports on other sites vary, some claim it s an Amazon delivery driver, others say they get the call but haven t ordered anything.

SCAM Call center Purported to be from British Gas. I had difficulty understanding what he was trying to tell me because of a strong accent, but he was suggesting a problem with my boiler thermostat? Then went on to talk about a maintenance contract to cover the boiler, radiators and electrical supply. I queried several times about his genuine employment by British Gas and he finally hung up the phone.
