Didn t answer the call and came here to check the number. Lots of these apparently foreign numbers are actually originating in the UK by using software diallers that mask the caller s true location.As other posters suggest, a good rule of thumb is - if the number looks suspicious it probably is.

Received an SMS from this number claiming it's from Royal Mail asking me to pay £2 for delivery, otherwise my parcel will return to sender. On the link which was looking like legit Royal Mail fill-in page, one was supposed to put all his details. It's really interesting that in that day, Friday, I was waiting about 3 deliveries. Similar experience to Tuglet ... Caller claimed OH had been getting lots of nuisance calls, I said no, he never picks up the phone unless he knows the number and if our phone does not block them automatically, then I did and put the phone down. Now polite I know but expected the hard sell.

Answered this call and was met with a dialling tone ... Googling the number showed it to be linked to "Ambulance Chasers". They won t get a chance to call again as I ve blocked it on my iPhone. I have been inundated with calls in the last week from different numbers, but don t know why as I HAVEN T had an accident! Hopefully the law will be changed soon to bin these nuisance calls.

Keep sending hateful messages and aren’t anyone I know. If someone could do something about it, it would be nice! They also sent links to dodgy gore websites and luckily I have a VPN. Otherwise I would have got a virus.

Two calls to my work phone from this number in the last week. I missed them both and no message was left. Google tells me the 0390 prefix is only used for fake numbers so putting this one in the annoying "spam" category.
