After dozens of missed calls from this number - I never answer a number I do not recognise - I rang back the 0207 number and got a recorded message with another number to call to unsubscribe - 0207 619 7888. You need to quote the number they ve called you on and tell them it s Shelter, as they re obviously a telemarketing company with a number of clients. I donated to Shelter by text and since then have been plagued by these calls at all hours. Waiting to see if they re as good as their word...

Tried to sell me loft insulation, told he I ve got recently on a grant. Then went onto cavity wall insulation,, can t have that done, not got proper cavity walls. Checked number elsewhere as no comments here. Some say British gas (number on their website) re smart meters, some say call disconnected if you ask questions, some say messages received like from aliens...? I don t know but would like to bar these calls. Going for 5 as not sure what it really is!
