AMAZON scam! Telling me that an order has been made in my name and £300 payment has been taken from my card!!! Press 1 to speak to an operator. I pressed 1, and told the guy I was confused to the message and he hung up. The phone code is my local town but the guy was Indian. DONT GIVE OUT YOUR CARD NUMBER TO ANYONE OVER THE PHONE GUYS!!!!

Yet another scam call from someone with my details. I asked how she'd got the details and she said "from a database". I asked which database and she said "her job was only to offer an extension to my washing machine guarantee". As I have no such thing anyway, it was easy to know it was a scam. Unfortunately these despicable people keep going because there are still those not wise to their tricks :-(

Claimed to be from Virgin, calling about internet. Got increasingly frustrated with me when I said I didn’t recognise the number and would call Virgin myself. Didn’t believe the guy with Indian accent and I hung up when he wouldn’t go away. Scary as it sounded like a big call centre in the background and it would be easy to get sucked in. Hope everyone hangs up and karma catches up with what I believe are scammers.

I rang the number back it’s about PPI saying I had money back in 2019 I told the lady I didn’t receive any money and to remove me from their database She started to raise her voice asking why would they do that when I had received money! This No. is used by Community Call Prevention - a company that claims to reduce unwanted calls. All they do is charge you a monthly fee to register you on the free TPS register This company is a part of the problem, not the solution. They have been told many times to stop calling & that all percieved "permissions" to call have been recinded. They say, each time, that the previous operator didn't action the request properly and promise it is fixed now...
