"Looks like a premium rate number" Sorry, but you re mistaken. 01, 02, 03 are all classed as national rate calls (apart from Channel Islands, Isle of Man) and 03xxx are business numbers. 0845 and 0870 numbers very widely being changed to 0345 and 0370 numbers so they are included in most calls packages (including from mobiles). Only 1899.com and 18185 (cheap call services when dialling using those prefixes before a number) are not including 03x

It cost me £12.97 for a 13 min call that I apparently made although I have no recollection of it
assumed to be a scam - garbled indistinct.
Caller said my national insurance had been compromised.

SCAM I was called from a lady called Lisa. She sounded Indian. Anyway I am lucky because I have been allocated a free discount card. Free, up to 40% off shopping, Tesco etc. Also they will send me free flight tickets for me and my family, anywhere in Europe. Didn't want my bank account no. just my sort code and account number. So they could credit me £1. I put the phone down. I wonder if I will get my free discount card in the post as promised.

Called both my mobile and my landline - both numbers have voicemail facility, but no message left on either! If it s important enough to call, they should leave a message. Just hanging up suggests it s some sort of telesales which, as I m registered with TPS, should not be happening. Am vey annoyed!!

Offering installs of software that is sold to the customer as if they actually paid for them. The amount the cost would be in the thousands alone. Got a call from someone today claiming to be from trada even though we do not have regular dealings with them and they have no reason to call. Asked to speak to my director when i said he was no available said he would send an email and call back. Wouldn t say what it was for or anything. Keeps calling, very annoying.
When I answer this call there is a long silence then a female voice says"goodbye" nothing else.

A couple of cold calls today, did not answer
Fraud, it was an automated message claiming to be HMRC saying theres a fraud case against me. Then it asked me to press 1 to listen to information regarding the case. I hung up and blocked the number.

Girl with friendly UK accident, asking me about a car accident they claimed I had. When I asked how she knew this, she then said Incident at work? . They try and get you to talk about some incident they can help you with, but I don t they have any real data. When I asked again where she got the data from, she hung up.
