Scam call about computer fraud. Called me a itch when I said they were untruthful and hung up.
This number would appear to be à Plymouth number. However it is a recorded English voice about payments I have tried to make to Amazon and an International Money transfer.it is clearly a highly dangerous scam and similar to a call I had the other day from a different number with an American style voice. Called me up (I was selling a motorbike on aurtotrader), said he was keen on the bike (only having seen the ad). Then asked for my bank details to pay me a deposit. At the time I thought that was ok, but on reflection why would he give a deposit on a bike he hadn't seen? Also wanted to do it in a hurry, so something not quite right. Not saying a scam, could be innocent but felt a bit weird.
I missed a call in this number and stupidly called it back. It was answered briefly then went dead. I have now noticed a charge of £1.52 on my recent mobile phone bill. Obviously a scam.
