Pretty sure it's some sort of scam, designed to either check that your mobile number is live, or ultimately to part you from any cash you may have spare. Hope this helps:)

automated call received today with voice attendant - Emma Macintosh - clearly a voice dialler - but very responsive give impression of being a person then passed onto a supervisor. Played along with the supervisor for a bit then they hung up.
