I have received 2 calls so far this morning, i don't answer numbers which are not in my handset phone book so they are wasting their time.

Got a call from this number +442476755510 number advising that they were from Atrac Solutions (or this is what it sounded like). Asking to confirm my address details which I refused to confirm yet the caller was very pushy and continued in his persuit for this information. I asked what was the busines reason for the call but he failed to divulge this information. I kindly advised that I wouln t be answering any information until he at least told me why he was calling. Is this a debt consolidation company? A

I read in the press that the STAR 9500 smartphone has been found to have a factory installed trojan virus. So I disabled my STAR 9500 and moved the sim card to an old phone. A few days later the old phone reported a missed call and a text message. The message was just this number. I didn t call it back.

Rang & I cancelled call. They rang straight back & I cancelled again.

I do not know who they are. All I know is that it is from the centre of Chichester. They do not even leave a text so that I would at least know who is attempting to get hold of me!!! It may be quite innocent, but until I know who is calling as unknown, it is a nuisance. Why should we have to put up with this rubbish, the caller would not like it if this happened to them. I will not call them back incase it is a scam.

Are based in Scotland with no known office in 01305 exchange area. Have calls from Scotland re-routed through local exchange numbers in order to persuade people to answer a local number. If you call it back, then the call is again re-routed back to their Scotland office. Not sure if this is an illegal practice under telephony legislation, but would be interested if anyone can come up with the legislation about having calls re-routed to give the answering CLI the impression that the call is local.
