I managed to keep this caller on the line for about 10 minutes. I was told they were to help with Windows problems. I asked for an address and was given 15 Victoria Street London. The helpline number is 0800 031 4414. The first person was female with a foreign accent and mentioned Las Vegas USA then South East Asia and India when I asked where their base was. This first caller was replaced by someone called Sean. I refused to switch my computer on and accused them of the usual scam regarding theft from

I think this organisation is trying to get people to sign up to let them pursue PPI claims and the like. They hung up when I asked them for their number so that I could pursue a claim with the TPS. 1471 came in handy.

3 calls yesterday and 2 so far today. Asian men, today he said he was phoning me from Future Trends and would only ask me 2 questions. asked if I was Mr ----- I said yes then asked me if the address he gave was mine, I said yes and he went on to ask me further questions. I told him he had already had his 2 questions and was not amused. I had told them yesterday to remove my number but clearly they have not. I am with TPS but this does no good. Who can we complain to? Claiming to be the police following a scam HMRC call. I called the number back and it is indeed the police, but they said no-one on that number had called. Be careful
