SCAM Stupid text message saying “Hi mum, call me on my new number - insert phone number- I’m sending you a message from my friend’s phone because I broke mine..their battery is running out” What it is about the fact that the friends battery is running out when the “child” has sent you a new number to call would add to the sense of urgency I have no idea. Stupid thick idiot criminals. This is a seemingly genuine number that has been taken over by scammers. Watch out. SCAM

did not recognise number. I answered but did not speak. there was a lot of background chatter, possibly a crowded office or call centre. caller just repeated "hello" without any introduction. they gave up after a few moments and just said "ok" and hung up.

Knew what products covered and type of policy, and paid on direct debit. Said paperwork will be here in a week. Some indian guy claiming to be from a quality center clqiming that I had registered at some trading platform. I was absolutely sure I hadn't registered on the site by mistake as all my information was there. Funny enough he could not give me the date of my supposed registration! LoL When he noticed he did not get anywhere with me, he abruptly hung up. Quite a rude chap if he really intended quality and customer satisfaction. My guess: part of the ongoing scams on Internet

Scammy soensos. Called twice in a row. 1st time told me it was HMRC and I owed tax, Totalling 1235.00 Told me I needed to set up payment via Google play. It disconnected, and approx 20 min later called back. This time, told me its life insurance, updating my claim and offering me a payout, by paying a fee. Okay. Sure.

Rang me on my mobile. I didn't recognise the number and did not answer. The caller did not leave a message. I have no dealings with anyone - personal or corporate in the Shetland Islands.
Called to say from MBNA and that there was a problem with the account. Indian (asian) voice. Wife was very rude to him. The number that came up was the same as the MBNA help line number with extra 2 added at the end. Called MBNA - very helpful - no they had not contacted us. MBNA say they always text before ringing and only speak to main account holder.
