SCAM / SPAM. Recorded message stating it was from HMRC and unless i press 1, an immediate arrest warrant will be issued due to non payment of TAX. I have checked and HMRC will never call in this manner.
This number 01855790593 was on my phone they did not leave a message so I have not a clue who it is.

Silent call
I received a call from someone who said she was from an indecipherable (!) company who was going to check I had the cheapest phone line rate. She said she had a few simple questions about my current phone line. When I asked again who she was working for, she replied she would put me through to " one of our lovely advisers". At this point I rang off.

My son phoned HMRC on 0300 number regarding his Tax Code - 2 calls made £56 !!!! Sky have this registered as 09037089402 on my Bill
Filled in hmrc email...stupid I know! Anyway Santander dealt with it. Then got some calls from this number then they eventually asked for my security number for my account!! Be aware... Total scam!

Like others have commented, if I wanted to buy extended cover I would ask for it myself. Disappointed with this type of sales calls.
