I had a guarded conversation with the caller who, as mentioned above, was calling on behalf of the RSPCA. Apparently he wanted to confirm details for Gift Aid purposes, which raised suspicion in my mind as there are always boxes to tick when completing donation forms for any charity. He did have my name and postcode already and was very polite, but clearly working from a script. I have not ever donated by text.

Reckons they have a cheque for £3100 which they say is PPI I wrongly paid on a loan, a local delivery man would deliver the cheque and when it is cleared and the money is in my account he will call again to collect Paysafe Vouchers for £225 which I have to buy and show to the cheque deliverer before he will hand over the cheque. A man asking for semi permanent make-up, would not give me his address for me to send him a patch test! Then wanted to book a whole day with me for a full works of pampering! The semi permanent make-up, and hair cut but then went on to say he wanted his hair coloured and teeth whitening! His messages were weird so I googled his number to find other complaints about him! My father had a call from this number. Stupid enough that they asked him for his bank details... well, he told them all. Noticing too late, that this might be scam. They said they would call him back the other day, but we never heard of them before. I don t know what to do now. Will have a closer look at his account then... bulls+++t
