Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 1618147xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with PPI, accident chasers, RTA - claims of all kinds. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). People did they call you with the same or something new? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back...

Called and asked to speak to the business owner. Asked what it was about and he mumbled something over a very bad line, asked his to repeat and heard him say "oh my gosh, go away" and hung up. How very rude of him! :)

Answer with robotic American accented voice saying how important call is. Out of interest I held on for a minute of so and no-one came back. Hung up and they have since rang 4 times!! I did not ring them on my mobile number but a private landline with a witheld number. Ooops there they go again... BLOCK THEM
