An urgent verbal message on a loop advising me that Trojan software had been active on my system and that I should not switch off and should phone this number which I did - they said they were Microsoft (a residential number!?) The person wanted me to hold down the Windows and 'R' keys so that he could correct the problem. I asked him if that enabled him to take control of my machine and he then put the phone down. Seems dodgy.
Contacted regarding my amazon account and large order to being placed by I-phone. When asked what the order was for the caller became evasive and just said that it was for £737. When amazon orders were checked no such order had been placed and and no communication made. I consider this number dangerous.

A neighbour received the same call, and was taken in, passed on to another person and gave bank card numbers (He has now alerted his bank). Spam call supposedly from carphone warehouse. I said "I have no contract with carphone warehouse" - and the guy replies "oh, that's ok that's ok, I'm not selling you anything. I just wanted to call and tell you that I love you so much, and I want to marry you". At which point I'd hung up.
