Keep calling, started just after 9am and have called 5 more times by 3.30pm. I have left the call to an answerphone as I don t recognise the number, they are not leaving any message - it goes to the machine, and either you get background noise (call centre?) or silence. I have no catalogue accounts, so they have no reason to phone - from all comments, assuming that this is a scam. I am getting a call guardian phone this month, can t wait to be able to block all the stuff like this. Total nuisance!!

Had 4 recorded messages left from this number in the last week alone and now I m getting the same types of calls to my mobile. I ve just reported them to Ofcom at http://consumers.ofcom.org.uk/2012/10/tackling-nuisance-calls-and-messages/ Hopefully if enough people do it they will be stopped.

Automated, I think. Suspect it's a scam or unsolicited selling. I said hello very quickly after picking up phone. Think the system didn't here me, so it cut off after a short time.

This is a PPI call. I pressed 5 to speak to the call centre. This is how it works. They have call centres which are not a part of the PPI company, they just make the cold call with their automated system, the automated dialing software offers you the option of speakign to someone if you press 5. you will speak to someone at a company who deals with the cold calling. This company is NOT the company dealing with the PPI stuff, I am guessing so that they themselves are not responsible for the cold calling part

01163040636 - Phoning every day claiming to be from TPS and ask for your bank details to renew your fee. You don t pay for TPS is what I told them and never have done, they hung up, SCAMMERS who are using several numbers all the same except for last 2 digits which vary but all claim to be TPS. Block them if you can, but please leave comments here about them, the more comments I believe will help trace or get rid of them.

Im confused about these. I answered a call yesterday when I was at work. She said she was from virgin and needed to discuss my account. She wouldn t say why or give any indication as to what the call was about until I went through a security check. The thing is, I have both my mobile and tv, broadband at home phone package with them and have not missed any payments since I have been with them.
