Fraud Tried identifying as Amazon. When I asked for my account details they hung up

SCAM. This number came through as a text and purports to be a dhl non-delivery notice with a link. The link takes you to a ‘google prize lottery’ which I didn’t bother to take further, but it’s obviously nothing to do with DHL. Have marked it as annoying and have blocked the number.

Lame sales call, claiming to work with BT Openreach. Considering that Openreach hasn t been called "BT Openreach" for several years, BT divested the company in March 2017. So, lame start to sales call. Then claims to save money on broadband and phone, I think we have all heard these claims.

If I don't press 1 or not get in touch with an 'officer' a warrant will be issued immediately and they'll come and arrest me right now!!! If you get a phonecall from the 'HMRC' stating this rubbish, have a little giggle and end the call.

Well, they phoned earlier and a recorded message informed me, that it was my banks security department, which it obviously wasn't, the number trace showed a call the Russian Federation, RED FLAG. She said, Somebody has accesed your account and made a £600 purchase fron Amazon and a £2,000 transfer to an international account, RED FLAG I politely told her to stop trying t scam people and she immediately hang up, basically, our phone providers should block these calls, as we are paying to receive them!
