BEWARE - scammer. 2nd identical call today. A male with an Indian accent told me his name was Winston and he was calling from BT. I asked him what my BT account number is, but he did not answer and said he was calling because of a problem with my router / browser. The number was falsified - when I tried calling it back, it did not connect.

Claiming to be from a legal company asking about a car accident I'd had in the past 2.5 years (which I haven't had). This is the third time I've been called, first two times was from a Kilmarnock number. I have not had a car accident during this time. A scam where they put in an insurance claim saying you were injured even if you weren't.

I didn't answer the call, but an answerphone message was left from the Shelter charity as a donor follow-up call. A bit annoying, but I guess I didn't tick the correct box previously.
