Called my landline claiming to be from Smiley Broadband and could save me money on my landline and broadband. Asked how long they had been trading as I've never heard of them. Guy said that they were based in Luton and had been trading for 20 years. Declined the offer and hung up.

You get robocalls until you pick up from one Bournemouth number, then the next day you get your "local" energy adviser calling you - just got rid at that point so unsure whether a scam, but certainly unsolicited, and since my number is in the TPS database for not getting unsolicited calls, you can bet your life it's a dodgy company not bothered about following the law or regulations.

This was a call on my mobile purporting to be a voice message from my doctor and to follow the link. This was recorded at 0012 hrs. No doctor would call at this time and it looks like the call comes from Manchester. I'm in Birmingham. Obviously I did not follow the link and deleted the message.
It was to do with my banking contract to help improve my banking package deal ie IF you pay for a premium banking service IE Lloyds Gold where in paying a monthly fee for your account they offer you various insurance packages the twit who phoned me was trying to tell me he was going to improve on my current offer!! I contacted this number after several missed calls, the company is called Freshstart, from what they said they get your info via loan applications etc, They seem to either provide or find you Debt Management company/PPI insurance recovery and probably other things.
