Saw this as a missed call yesterday morning at 08:01. Couldn t understand why I hadn t heard it ring but now I see they only ring once. And surely it s illegal to do cold calls before 9am anyway?

Without a doubt another bloody scam about Amazon account.

Usual PPI / car accident / similar sort of claim cold call. Blocked number. These people must be utterly shameless. I couldn t sit at a desk with a headset on being told to get lost (or worse) 100 s of times a day. Still, it s a job I suppose but I d rather be unemployed than lower myself to this sort of thing!

automated voice call says they are from HMRC investigating a fraud you have committed in you tax return - rang off at this point.

Another annoying call where there is a lot of background noise. I hung up then because these always turn out wanting to sell something or can get me a better deal .

I think this is the 2nd time this no. has called me. I rang back and was put in a queue with a high, nasal, slightly too fast, American your call is very important to us, please stay on the line . (i didn t)

Asian male, very aggressive, calling from Brummie Refunds, Birmingham. Trying to con ppl into PPI refunds. Hardly spoke English, probably shipped in on the back of the lorry and working for £1 an hour. Caller shouted everything, "I sign you up, I sign you up!!" Very intimidating. The government needs lynching for allowing this to happen.

Answered this random call to my mobile, automated message saying that a charge had been made against my name from the inland revenue. Ridiculous, I called back to challenge them. A foreign man answered saying HMRC can I help you? I asked why they called me, he asked if he could have my name. I said no. He said You had better get ready to be arrested, Ms ....... (using my name, which I hadn t given), then hung up. Vile scum.

Received a call from this number. The man said he was calling from Sky regarding an unpaid bill. The thing was, said bill had been paid over a week ago, which I told him. He then apologized and ended the call. So I guess it s a legitimate. He didn t ask for any personal information and asked for me by name.

Calls telling me I am entitled to ?1000 pension addition. Requested dial 5 for more information or 9 if already received. I hung up. Obviously a scam.
