Just had a call from 45 saying my computer had sent problems he asked me to switch computer on, I asked how do I do that?, he replied are you using laptop or desk top?. I replied I do not have a computer, he hung up, Asian sounding man number now blocked.

I was called from this number and the caller was very insistent / pushy about the fact that I MUST be owed PPI compensation otherwise they would not be calling. They required bank / credit card details and when I said I had already received compensation from my bank, the call was terminated by them without explanation.

If a company like this keeps calling and ask if they are speaking to you, say no and ask what department they work in and keep playing a long as if you are in a multinational company. If they think you are a business, they take you off their cold calling list straight away. Have done this with multiple companies and they never ring back.

I'm not too certain about the caller, as he started off by saying both my Company name & personal name, & he'd obviously "done his homework" as when I asked him who was calling, he said the name of my provider. Unfortunately he spoke at the speed of sound, so when I asked, he said he'd speak slower, but then the line disconnected, so I didn't get to find out whether the caller was genuine or not.
