SCAM / SPAM Washing Machine warranty Some Indian dude said my washing machine warranty was ending so he could provide a 3-year deal for one £120. Their database was wonky as he assumed I had a Hotpoint which was a blatant guess. I scam baited this guy for 10-mins just for my amusement then he hung up when i didn't reveal any personal details.
This is a scam. Say they are Microsoft Excel and that your computer has alerted them that illeagal and dangerous material is being downloaded onto your computer!

Scam rings at least 4 times a week. Never answer unknown numbers. They never leave a message. Rang last night at 9.45pm and again this morning at 8am. Googled the number this morning and it comes up as private house in Sittingbourne. We do not know anyone in Sittingbourne.

Somehow they have managed to get money from me twice in two nights, one being a 3hr call at 22.57 costing 44.85 and another for at 01.57 for a 1hr call at 23.35!!!! Raging how can this be!! I was at work and never use my phone!! 02 are about to get a roasting!!My battery doesnt even last for three hours!! The 01786 STD code is for Stirling but this is no local number!
