SCAM Indian sounding lady, rang twice this week saying they were from BT openreach that there had been a security breach on my internet line trying to hack my broadband, she couldnt tell me any details, so assuming this was a scam I said its fine theres nothing on my laptop for hackers to get, she then wanted my mobile phone details to show me what was happening, I then told her I didn't bring my phone to work and she got angry and said fine if you dont want to protect your line then hung up !!

TAXES / HMRC - recorded message on line telling me I was found to be committing to evasion fraud against hmrc. And to press 1 for more information before criminal proceedings start. I held up at this point.
SCAM: Amazon Prime scam. Female automated voice ‘Hi, this is your reminder that your Amazon Prime subscription has been auto-renewed and you have been charged seventy nine nine nine’ (No currency mentioned!) Press 1 to cancel, press 2 for any other queries. Identical call to one I had from this dialling code last week.

Automated call Recieved a call from this number threatening it was a Fraud investigation giving me a reference number then directing me to press one to get through to an agent. If I hung up and ignored the call I may end up with a fine or court proceedings.no reference as to what the call was related to? Very strange and no reason why I would even recieve such a call. I ended call without proceeding but want others to watch out for such calls as the ber search brought up nothing in terms of an organisation

I called this number back and they said it was vodafone. He wanted to chat about my contract but got disconnected. I contacted vodafone to check if this number was them and they confirmed that it was a courtesy call from them, so it seemed to be genuine.

This number left a message to call back John (no company name). When i returned the call he tried to sell me a pension. I questioned his methods and he put the phone down on me. Any company that operates in such a way is not worth dealing with.
