Unsolicited silent cold call, others on internet say scam Tax call. Beware this number, possible scammer!

Automated voice claimed that I had ignored documents from HMRC and that legal action would be taken.

Pretending to be my heating insurance provider offering a lower rate. When I pushed for a company name it was similar but not quite the same as it should have been. They had my details!! Possible scam.

Cold caller claiming to be wanting to do a "young persons disability survey". Probably computer generated dialling since I am ex-directory and they had no idea as to the age generation they were talking to.

Claiming to be EE, and asked how much I pay a month as they are running 30% off promotion. As soon as I said I don't have an EE account, they hung up.

Received a call today 21.6.22 at 13:15. Recorded message purporting to be Visa regarding to possible acts of fraud against my debit card. 1 x £1000 and 1 x £300. Immediately suspected a scam, pressed to speak to an adviser and decided once more to play along. Male with foreign accent, as usual acting as if I had called in. I received an automated call about some money taken from my card. If I wanted to learn more press 1 they requested. The call was from Nakhichevan Russian Federation - I never had any connection with this part of world. Must be a fraud?!

Frankly what’s the point of the ICO/Action Fraud/7726 text reporting and all the other options Surely their easy to locate with todays technology and number of reports of this and similar numbers!

Received a text supposedly from Santander - avoid at all costs.

This person claimed to work for Currys pc world. Trying to get me to sign up for a new mobile contract. He knew my number but not my name. When I called him out, he was very abusive then hung up ..... Invalid number when I rang back.
