SCAM Fraud BEWARE ! This number has only recently appeared on this site (August 2023) from other people checking. Caller says you've suspicious transactions on your card, knows your name and last four digits of the card. Asks you to check the balance, in my case without any security questions. Hung up on me and didn't call me back when I told him I keep very little in the account, whilst I was silently checking the account in the background. This number is not secure, it is scammers pretending to be from O2, offering a 50% discount off your monthly bill. Tempting, obviously. They say a text will be sent to confirm this, followed by another text with a code to activate the offer. They will then ask you to repeat the code to them BUT doing this will allow them to take control over your account and possibly other info on your phone. Something didn't feel right so when they rang back for the code I didn't answer but googled O2 scams. Beware.

SCAM this number calls and tries to get you to sign up for medical emergency devices like pendants. They tell you different excuses for their call like you had a medical appointment and now qualify for a few pendant with a huge one off service fee on over £150 that y they then say is for 12 months service which isn't a one off payment. They all for your card or direct debit details and when you tell them you think it's a scam they hang up on you.
Considered as a scam call. Automated message speaks of unusual activity on your Bank Account, eg a £200 purchase from Amazon not thought to be made by you and a £1,000 transaction from abroad. Hang up. Do not "press 1" or any other numbers. Ring your Bank if you feel you need to.
SCAM - Claiming to be from 02 and asking for security code to access the account and give you a monthly discount. Fortunately the text that’s sent with the code warns to hand up immediately if code is being requested via the phone. Stay vigilant!

And, the website it takes you to appears to be the genuine NHS website, where it explicitly says you no longer have to isolate or do a lateral flow test, and there is no information on how to get a pcr test now that Test and Trace no longer operates!!!
