Not in the habit of giving out my personal mobile number to just anyone or any businesses. Although I ve had 6 calls from this number in the past few days, no idea who it is, as I have absolutely no intention whatsoever of answering calls from numbers I do not recognise, especially if they begin 0845. Just blocked the number from my list of recent calls on my iPhone, which sends them directly to voicemail as opposed to bothering me with something I am unconcerned about. SCAM CLAIMING THEY ARE FROM BRITISH GAS, ONCE I TOLD THEM I KNEW THEY WERE NOT BRITISH GAS HE SAID ITS TOO LATE CHECK YOUR BANK DETAILS.. THEY ARE VERY CONVINCING AND WILL KEEP RINGING AND RINGING. BRITISH GAS HAVE CONFIRMED THESE IDIOTS ARE NOTHING TO DO WITH THEM.
I answered but didn t speak, as the sound is what triggers the robot usually - if it is a real person they will speak first. they hung up.
