Man calling about a medical pendant. May have been harmless but he was very evasive when I asked where he got my phone number (we're not on any lists and don't get cold-called much). He seemed to be reading from a script and looking up the answers, as there were long gaps between my asking a question and his reply. I told him I was going to hang up and did so.

Male Caller, stated he was from car phone warehouse and wanted to let me know about a special offer they have running. I asked how he had come by my phone number as I’ve never dealt with the company, but he immediately launched into a sales pitch. I stopped him saying he should not be phoning my number as it is registered with TPS. He said thank you and hung up.

I do not know anyone or work with any business in Liverpool and the caller left no message so I am assuming tele-marketing or a scam. Either way it’s unwelcome and number now blocked.

Persistent offender of harassment calls. Uncle Buck Finance LLC. They disguise their caller id using literally dozens of different numbers, all of which transfer to collections. When challenged to identify themselves stating they are calling from UB. Despite MANY requests to stop calling, call several times a day and into the evening, 7 days a week. This number rang today but hung up part way through the answerphone message. After reading comments here and elsewhere, I rang and asked for our number to be removed from their database. The guy I spoke to was happy to do this and also happy to tell me that the third party from whom they receive numbers is Communications Avenue. Looks like these are the people we should really be shutting down. A quick Googke shows that they re based in Newark.
