On checking with O2 the above number and caller WAS a genuine call from O2. Apologies O2.

Asian sounding company keep phoning saying they are doing marketing, then proceed to ask a string of questions about age, marital status, life insurance, phone provider, IT provider, TV package provider. I kept saying I didn t want any more phone calls and where this information was going, he kept ignoring me and asking the same questions saying they would not contact again but wouldn t say that they would not pass the information on to other parties. Similar experience to Tuglet ... Caller claimed OH had been getting lots of nuisance calls, I said no, he never picks up the phone unless he knows the number and if our phone does not block them automatically, then I did and put the phone down. Now polite I know but expected the hard sell.

Second time this idiot has rang same person asking for some bloke called Vedra or something I have told him that no such person has ever lived at this address. If he rings again...
