Fraudulent and threatening automated call pretending to be HMRC, saying that a court warrant had been issued on my account and that I would be arrested shortly if I did not continue the call. Just waiting for the police to turn up now.
Just took a call from this number - they asked for me by name and then said I had recently entered a competition and thats how they got my number and they wanted to save me money on my power supplier - I politely explained I wasnt the bill payer and wasn t interested. The guy then demanded to speak to the bill payer - I told him they are not available and not interested. He then went on a rant at me - at which point I hung up and blocked the number. Asked if we had a gas boiler & was it over 7 years old. I got them to confirm that we had not asked to be contacted, said that we were TPS registered and that they were breaking the law. Was told that they would remove our number from their list (of course, they should have checked before disturbing us.)
