Persistence caller, rings around 4 times a day at different times, even though my answer machine takes most of the calls they keep calling. Today I answered it & they are asking for the person that used to have my number over 22 years ago so I know that they are working from old telephone books etc. Just told them that they had the wrong number so hopefully that will stop now! SCAM / SPAM accident company, never answer any calls if you are not sure, cgeck them first online and block them, they have a new tacktic how to get your phone number, usually through your advert on gumtree, if you put an advert and want to sell something and you will put your phone number then they will call you straight away, so don't put your number, even if you don't show your numver on gumtree they will message you through gumtree saying they are interested in your item and ask for your phone number, s

Just had a call from this number. He said he was from 3 and was offering me an upgrade for my phone and cheaper monthly payments. I asked him to confirm the first line of my address and he said, you should know it and put the phone down.

And www.sc-privatebanking.com Was included in an email as a contact number but doesn't ring at all. Contact victim via email and used numerous mobile numbers attached, requested proof of ID, Bank Statements etc. Currently under investigation with Fraud Police.

Bloke was very friendly and implied he was from BT and TPS. said there had been a large number of unsolicited calls in the area and offered a service to stop them. Hung up when I pressed him about price and told him I wouldn t pay. Scarily convincing to vulnerable people!
