SCAM Upon connection there was an electronic tone like you used to get with Skype. Man with thick accent tried to interest me in a motor accident I recently had and had “forgotten about”. When I said no I hadn’t had one I was immediately disconnected. This is not Aberdeen, it sounds more like India.

Call today supposed to be from BT telling me my IP address was public and hey would make it private. 2 men in what sounded like a room full of people spoke to me. I sked where the were calling from and they gave me an actual BT address in London. I asked the guy if he was Indian and yes he was. I told him the 1st person I spoke with was India too. I asked him if this was a scam. I then heard someone say drop the connection. So looks like a scam to me.

This number rung me on easter Sunday, I rung the number back it didn't go to answer phone just kept ringing this is from a scammer Ignore this number !!

This number called twice today. The man claims to be from a mobile phone company that works with my operator. Offers better deals. and need my details, and my contract details and when I asked why he's not taking data from the screen he admitted that my details are not there and he is calling with a completely different company. Clearly scammers and it's better not to talk to this number.

As tax returns reached their deadline last night, and as this is from Glasgow, I wondered if someone was trying to tell me I owed tax as a scam. SCAM Got 2 calls today, first one at 8am with a man with a indian accent who wasn't sure what name to call the caller and second one a woman more confident but as soon as I said that I was going to report her number at Action Fraud she started to panic. I made her believe that she was recorded and she change her tone of voice to terminate the call asap. Seems that they only hire Indian people behind this number.
