Calling on behalf of energy company from before we moved house, they completely messed up our bills and payments, agreed to wipe arrears when we moved and now being harassed by lcs via phone and texts weekly. I just block and ignore as we have a letter stating arrears have been cleared which lcs dont seem interested in.

Pointed out that a) its not their job and b) I d like to know where they got that info as I am a financial advisor and I take care of this myself! She got aggressive and rude so hung up. It's a company called First Contact by Utilita. I was called on my mobile and they hung up. A return call revealed they were a call centre and I have now blocked the number.

Scouse lad calling from a motor accident claim company, asking if I d been in an accident recently. Told them I hadn t (I d had a minor bump a few months back but no injuries to either party, but I m not telling them that). Surprisingly the advisor actually offered to take my number off their database (whether they will or not is another matter).
