SCAM Dance Music playing loudly in the background..the caller knew my first name but wouldn't say who they were or the company name so I hung up.
SCAM: I think it must be a scam number because he said he was calling from Carphone Warehouse which has since disbanded. he jumped in with another 'even better offer' before I'd even rejected the 1st offer. I didn't get a chance to reject any offer though as they spoke so fast with a thick accent, that I couldn't understand what was being said. I then asked him to repeat & he said 'bye' & hung up... Indian scammers now have the facility to send information to your phone that displays a different number to where they are phoning from. Hence this number does not belong to the scum trying to tel me they are from Amazon and have that I have just been charged for an Iphone 7 for £350 which has been deducted from my bank account. SCAM Indian sounding lady, rang twice this week saying they were from BT openreach that there had been a security breach on my internet line trying to hack my broadband, she couldnt tell me any details, so assuming this was a scam I said its fine theres nothing on my laptop for hackers to get, she then wanted my mobile phone details to show me what was happening, I then told her I didn't bring my phone to work and she got angry and said fine if you dont want to protect your line then hung up !!
