Keep getting calls from this number but no message left. Now it is showing up in my mobile phone bill as me having called them when I don't know who it is. Very weird.

Cold calling

This was a recorded message about my national insurance number being fraudulent. I immediately put phone down. Since then my phone screen went blank and now my phone apps are not working.

This number called at 9:50am as soon as I answered the other end hung up.

This calls are from GCHQ,every time you received text or call or you make call or you send texts.they call you 5to 10 min later.it s called spy dialling,to spy to who or from where you make calls

This call is from NTT Fundraising based in Bristol BS1 2NB. You should report them to the TPS (I have), especially if your number is registered with the TPS. The more people do it, the more likely the TPS will actually pay attention. I caused EMCAS (ambulance chasers) based in Torquay some grief by submitting a complaint to the TPS

Just answered to this number and they wanted my address to send out some paperwork to claim for a PPI. (Which I don't have). Junk.

How are you supposed to be able to stop these scammers when its obviously a taped recording

Pretending to be from BT, but there not, called me a few times, saved there number so I don t answer anymore. Scammers.

A large number of people have been called by the criminals using this fictitious number according to other sites. Their aim is to gain the confidence of people and persuade them to allow access to their computers so they can infect them. Yesterday I was out all day and when I returned I found no less than five calls from a slightly different but equally fictitious number, 01614379874, but still equally recognisable as fake from anyone who has had so many of these calls as I have. Had this number call me this morning, I tried to explain I was registered with TPS but raised his voice over mine, he then told me to shut up

To do with pet insurance

Claimed to be from the Accident recording company and I could clain £4000 on an accident last year which I never had! I mentioned GDPR but he would not listen and said comsumers...

claimed to be calling about staff training for department of education. demanded to speak to "your boss" when I grilled him on why.
