A really badly recorded message informing me that my internet service is being discontinued because (presumably) I haven't paid my bill. It seems to be my lucky week as they called 4 times yesterday from different 01606 prefixes. May their crotches be infested with fleas.

SCAM I was called from a lady called Lisa. She sounded Indian. Anyway I am lucky because I have been allocated a free discount card. Free, up to 40% off shopping, Tesco etc. Also they will send me free flight tickets for me and my family, anywhere in Europe. Didn't want my bank account no. just my sort code and account number. So they could credit me £1. I put the phone down. I wonder if I will get my free discount card in the post as promised.
Had a call from this number saying they were from Amazon. Don’t deal with Amazon so put the phone down.

I got this number today,but didn t answer, and just got office background noise on the answer machine. This is despite only having changed my landline number a couple of weeks ago (because of many such scamming and harassment calls).I went ex directory and only let a few friends know the new number. Claimed to be from Postcode lottery saying I’d won a discount card for supermarkets and that I’d also won a free flight to anywhere in the world. Passed call to her senior who wanted to “activate” the discount credit card and said needed to deposit £1.00 into my account to activate the account. Told her I knew she was scamming me for my bank details and hung up!

SCAM / SPAM Calling from investment firm asking for money. I live in UAE and they were calling from UK (or spoofed) Vodaphone. The female caller did not have a British accent and she was reading poorly from a script.
