SCAM Recorded message claiming to assert criminal charges for tax evadion
looked up this number on google and it is from america to do with bitcoin, can only be a scam didn t answer and blocked number
SCAM Received a call apparently from O2 asking if my phone service was good. I said it was fine and hung up. Almost immediately after I received a warning from O2 by text: *SECURITY WARNING* The one-time code you requested will arrive shortly. If someone's calling you and asking for a code, please end the call because they DO NOT work for O2. If you suspect fraud, call us on 202 so we can protect your account. Soon after a code came from O2. This suggests the caller was trying to access my account.
He offered to renew my van insurance, at a lower cost. My van insurance was not due for renewal yet he had a lot of details about me. However the van he had me as owning was from over 5 years ago, so I guess this is some old hacked database and then a scam to get your money. This guy said he was from vancompare who I have actually used before. Quite confusing but almost certainly a scam. The guy was South African

SCAM number showed as 01942794042 however, it was definitely from a call centre and the female voice started the call with "thank-you for connecting with BT" which seemed odd. Turns out it was one of those dodgy activity on your internet connection calls - as usual I denied having and internet connection a mobile phone and even a landline. On answering what was apparently a London number, a completely automated female voice started rambling on that it was on behalf of someone from HMRC (an officer Denis Grey) and that I or my solicitor needed to call back 'or face the consequences' (oooohh, so scary! *sarcasm*) Just plain irritating and stupid.
***SCAM*** Called me at 14:13 30/04/2020 with a recorded message pretendimg to be a large company and telling me my internet would be cut off in four hours if I did not call my provider then asking me to press 1 to call the provider.

SCAM. This number came through as a text and purports to be a dhl non-delivery notice with a link. The link takes you to a ‘google prize lottery’ which I didn’t bother to take further, but it’s obviously nothing to do with DHL. Have marked it as annoying and have blocked the number.

claimed to be from my internet provider-asked me to confirm router was working ok as had received large volume of calls. When I advised I was not at home(despite the fact they had called my landline) heard whispered conversation with a workmate/supervisor,asked to perform the same check on router again I repeated that I was not at home.
