SCAM - Claiming to be from 02 and asking for security code to access the account and give you a monthly discount. Fortunately the text that’s sent with the code warns to hand up immediately if code is being requested via the phone. Stay vigilant!
This number messaged me saying hi mum this is my new number please save when I mesaaged back saying who is this, they came back saying your eldest. When I tried to call the number they didn't answer it went to o2 answering service. This was not my eldest.

Keep getting calls from numbers which start with 01273901924 upto 1937, these are scam calls and they change the last two numbers all the time but its the same scammers and i just let the phone ring as i have a long list of scam calls and i can only block 50 on my phone.
Accent, Called me by name, said not interested whatever they were selling, they hung up.

This is around the 10th call in a month using same script from different numbers (all now blocked). Fraud - foreign-sounding caller purporting to be from VISA Security. When I asked which VISA account the suspect transaction was on the caller swore and hung up. I don't believe that is VISA policy or that VISA fraud investigation works from a questionable domestic number appearing to be in Stafford.

This number 01133100118 which shows as Leeds rang me & offered to beat my network provider by 30% without knowing who i was with, 5 minutes later the same man (john) rang me again with the same offer, this time the number 01143560006 came up as Sheffield. Leeds to Sheffield in less than 5 minutes is pretty fast so i think these numbers are being spoofed from a computer.

Call received from this number today, 27 February 2023 @ 10:16. I did not answer, but they left a message, which I felt was an attempt to trick me into responding in order to avoid paying unlawful requests for several hundred pounds. I believe this to be a scam call from someone pretending to be from Amazon.
