I gave completely made up details and passed their verification! This is clearly a scam number and whilst i dont know what the scam is they are lying about who they are and waht they are doing. SCAM

Someone claiming to be from "Tenancy Deposit Helpline" asking if we have a private tenancy deposit. Asked where they got our details from, they said from the Tenancy Deposit Scheme, I said surely they'd know if we had a private deposit if that was where they got out details. He hung up.

I haven’t answered this call yet as I tend to not answer calls where I don’t recognise the number - I figure if it’s important they’ll leave a voicemail. I was getting consistent calls from another number in the same area as this one which I blocked yesterday, and now today I’ve already had two calls from this number in the same area. SCAM claimed to be Tony from Carphone Warehouse but my andriod identified the caller as Al Kareem, a legitimate company, so they are using their number to think they are legit. Unless you use Al Kareem block this number
