Received voicemail saying to Call this number before things get worse problems. Immediately called back. No reply. Tried four times. No reply. Eventually was answered. Initially silence then after e a couple seconds heard what sounded like an announcement at a railway station or airport in the background then suddenly went dead. This number called me, I didn t answer but tried to check online who it might be but was unsuccessful. I rang back the number back, it went to voicemail "Jason here, can t come to the phone blah blah. . . leave a message . I did not leave a message but rang back again & a woman answered Hi this is Andrea from Play Lottery how can I help you . I checked all the contact numbers on the Lottery website & this isn t one of them!! Does anyone know what authority to report this obvious fraudulent number to?
The person had my Christian name. He made a speculative statement that I had had a minor traffic bump within the last 2 years. I have not, so it was easy to cut the call off.
Indian accent, mispronounced my name, when I repeated it back with a questioning tone, hung up.
After a significant delay (always suspicious), "Hi, this is Matthew. I'm calling about the government scheme for insulation, which you had installed in your loft." As soon as I said "Oh, no you're not" because we have no loft and have not had any insulation of any description installed for more than 10 years, he immediately hung up.
SCAM Purporting to be from Amazon asking about a delivery costing £79 and then asking recipient to press 1. Did not go any further but hung up.
Seemed like a frightening "ransom" scam. Saying your being investigated for "Tax Fraud" and your going to be arrested if you don't hit "1" to reply back. I expect any reply incurs a massive phone fee charged to your bill connected to a premium number. No official entity would call you on an automated message in such a cold manner disregarding your mental and physical health conditions. Such as being suicidal or having a hart condition.

I was called by someone as part of a recruiting agency. Please be aware that companies employ call centres to make calls on their behalf. These are people who are being paid to call on behalf of other companies. If you received a call from here saying you re a claimant of some kind it means that department has been fed bad data. Please don t be horrible to the people on the other end of the phone. At least they have a job instead of being paid by benefits.
They called me repeatedly and at some point i just answered and although I didn t really understood what they wanted, they started asking for my personal information. At that point I clearly told them that I m not gonna reveal any of it. They hung up. Better for them

They phone me almost every day. They never leave a message and I am not in a job where I can just answer the phone without having to think about others. I have responsibilities so will not answer the phone during the work day. That can be from 07.30 until even 20.00 at least once a week. They are annoying.
