Spam call claiming to be from HMRC, saying letter sent to me had been returned and action would be taken. Untrue statements m HMRC have my address correctly. SPAM TAXES / HMRC SPAM

THIS TEL. NO. 0208 064 1448 HAS CALLED ME SEVERAL TIMES RECENTLY. SIRLUTE SHOWS ON MY PHONE AS THE CALLING COMPANY. I HAVE GOOGLED THIS NAME AND IT IS APPARENTLY A CHARITY. THE PERSON CALLING SAYS THEY ARE FROM A COMPUTER SECURITY/ANTI VIRUS COMPANY.

SCAM Yet another foreign Parcel Postal Scam “we tried to deliver your parcel & no one was in!” scam text with a dodgy link attached for suckers to click on!! The phone number is +447388957553 & is located in the Gorno-Altayskaya region which is Russia! So DON’T CALL OR TEXT IT BACK PLEASE, JUST BLOCK IT!! SCAM claimed to be calling from O2. Hung up immediately knowing they were not legit. Instantly got texts from 'O2 UK' sending a OTP which I never requested. Noted that previous texts were from 'O2UK' (no space).

Some pre recorded computer voice voicemail message (I don't answer any number I don't know) something it said "case which is going to be filed against you our letter got returned please press one to avoid legal actions I" then it cut off. Blocked the number especially as its a mobile number.. Hate the sickos that do this especially as someone who suffers with severe anxiety what is wrong with the people that do this..

The send you a text stating that there is an issue with your last Three mobile payment. My 17 year old daughter clicked on the link and 'Updated' her details. A couple of hours later her bank rang her to say she had attempted to purchase car tyres to the value of £650.00 luckily, she only had about £10 in her account at the time. Still very inconvenient having to have her account cancelled and to wait for a new card to be issued.

Missed parcel scam. Trying to get payment

Scam caller pretending to be from the FCA - Financial Conduct Authority. Part of another scam where they contact you initally pretending to be able to get you your money from a business that you may have been in contact with.

I have a Sky and 02 contract, different phones. I had a call from this number purporting to be 02 on my Sky phone; took me a while to realise! Offered me a 45% discount on my bill for 2 years with no catches??? Spoke in an Indian accent, very fast, so not easy to understand. Asked for my full name, which I queried as he was supposed to have my account records. However, not giving anything away, I did so but he misspelled everything. Telemarketing. My mobile flagged the number as spam so I answered with my usual 'can i help you' and a woman asked for me, i replied again 'can i help you' and she started talking so fast about some sort of market research. TBH i didnt hear what she was saying cus she talked so fast! When i tried to interrupt her she said something like 'im going to call you everyday' then hung up. Ive blocked the number now.

Saying my amazon account has been hacked. Need my Bank account details to send me a refund and reopen my account.

Scammer claiming to be from O2, offering to reduce my bill by 30%. Didn't confirm my name, if it matches the account holder name, or any account details besides the phone number (which they'd just called, so duh...). Just started asking for the verification code they send you by text when accessing your account. The one where the message specifically states not to give the code to anyone, even people claiming to be O2 staff... Probably not calling from Edinburgh either, probably a spoofed number.
