Asked for email address as I didn't have the time to speak, told them to send me an email as they seemed to have my info, but he could only confirm my name, so I hung up. Probably a scam and I have blocked the number now

The number identifies the message as RoyalMail contacting me. The mispelling of Royal Mail is reason enough to be suspiciouss. The asked me to click a link to redirect me to a web page to arrange delivery of a parcel they couldn't deliver. I have nothing on order and I am sure Royal Mail would not mispell their own name or contact me from a mobile. 100% a scam if like my elderly mother, you now look these strange numbers up online before responding.

Looks like this is associated with the scammer on 02080720015 something to do with mobile phone scams. I got a call from them seconds after the call from this number.
A call where nobody spoke directly to me, although the background noise was from an Indian sub-continent call centre, based in London!! Must be classed as dangerous
Said was from Visa card ….had I authorised two large payments? I asked what bank? Said they were acting on behalf of banks ….so I asked which bank. The bank they said was not one I use! Told them they were scammers, that I would report call and put phone down…
07539362591 just rang my father in law, claiming to be the bank about 2 payments of 249.99 and 990.00. luckily I was there to stop this, but these absolute arseholes need putting in jail. Absolute scumbags.

I got a text message from Halifax saying a Mr Abdul Khan has successfully set up as a new payee on 2/05 if this was not you please call us on 01143600424 ref ST20F07 it’s a scam I phoned my bank immediately they have put a note on my account as a safety measure …Do Not ring phone your bank hope that helps .
SCAM Guy called Daniel Gomes purporting to be from Amazon Prime informing me that someone in Manchester had tried to use my account and they needed to verify my details or my account would be suspended for my protection. I did not supply any information, but was told to think about it and call back on 0208 123 7233 which I certainly did not do. I was called again later and this time I hung up. I have received genuine e-mails from Amazon mentioning this type of scam.
Called me but when I answered immediately had an answering machine that said a letter for me had been returned to them so they would be taking legal action, like an answering machine would go into that much depth. Then I waited for the message to repeat to hear who it claimed to be and instead it hung up. Clearly a scam.

Received this call today. It came approximately 30 minutes after a call from a Cambridge number 01223 931995. The Cambridge number went dead on answering. The 01330 563426 number allowed me to answer, and an automated message said it was the HMRC and that I would be fined. You could press 1 to talk to an agent. I hung up. You cannot ring back. This call came into me whilst I was in the shower. The female operator started talking immediately, I had to really raise my voice to interrupt her call whereby I explained that I could not he at her as I did not have my hearing aids in, but was in the process of trying to put them in. My expectation was that she would hold on whilst I did that. Instead with no hearable comment the phone went dead. I felt she was extremely rude, I’m disabled, had got out of the shower to answer her call & Im deaf.
