These people have several different numbers starting 986 with the Oxford area code. None of them are recognised when dialled!

Said he was called Jack from BT Business Head office and he could do me a better deal than by Local BT Business office. Jack, you seem to be the only person working for BT Business as you are the only person making these sales calls, for such a large business!!. I don't believe this is BT as you can see in other searches Jack seems to be the only person making these calls, probably to gain information about your business. He didn't get any from me. Possibly dangerous.

SCAM Claiming to be Carphone Warehouse. It’s a scam, do not purchase anything from these people. Indian call centre with mix of male and female reps.

This number seems to be used for a classical telemarketing, or it is a directly some general call centre. They usually work for some third company and call with offer of some goods or services for the actual company they were hired for. In this case the number is mostly reported in connection with pension reviews ("Pension Advice Bureau"), accident claims, payment protection (PPI). It was a recorded message saying that money had been taken out of a bank account and that I should press 1 to speak to an advisor. The name of the bank was not given.

Caller claimed the loft insulation I had installed would cause condensation and things had changed since the loft was last surveyed. He tried to pressure me into an immediate survey. When I asked if he knew when the last one was, he said he was new at the job & his manager would call me to arrange a survey today. When I started to speak defensively he ended the call. Trying to hard sell an immediate survey with bogus claims

Purported to be from "national accident centre" I hadn't received paperwork for a fictitious accident I didn't have in 2014.

Rubbish people selling more rubbish

Constantly getting pestered by this number trying to say I'm entitled to money off a car insurance claim I had two years ago even though I'm entitled to nothing and have told them constantly this but yet they keep ringing. I'd strongly advise not giving any personal details to this number
