Male following up on a wellness survey I was supposed to have completed. Haven t done one and wouldn t do one. Wife told caller that person was no more . . .

I have received several calls to my mobile from this number recently. If I don t answer the phone, they don t leave a message and when I do answer it the caller appears to hang up. I am wandering if it is SPAM or a wrong number (but surely if the latter they would have left a message for someone else or spoken to me and discovered the error). I ve noticed several Manchester numbers being associated with unwanted calls to EE customers and wonder if this number is also being used by the same people/company.

This appears to be the number of the "OK today" button, used in sheltered accomodation.

Got a call from this number on my mobile. Said I d been in an accident. No I haven t. I reckon they just dial numbers at random. I say this because only my family know my mobile number and I won t give it out to ANYONE else. They didn t even know my name or where I was from or where the accident happened or what car I was supposed to have been driving or what time of day or the date it was supposed to have happened. Person with an Asian accent (after a delay) introducing himself as Peter Thompson purporting to be from BT claimed someone in America was using my IP address and accessing emails . Asked what devices I was using to access the internet. The scammer wasn t afraid to argue back aggressively when I told him in no uncertain terms I knew this was an attempt to hack in to the internet.

Number belongs to The Very Group accounts team, according to Google. To the initial poster: try putting something sensible next time.

I am according to 02077428327 about to be arrested for tax fraud. The threat if I did not press one was that this action would be initiated immediately

London numbers don t start with a 2 after the 020,so it s a fake.

this caller phones late evenings, being an OAP this is very unsettling

Caller didn t know who my mobile provider was, but tried to convince me I was entitled to a new phone for free. They hung up when they realised I was not taking the bait.

Started calling me on 6th Aug - just had call now about 2 mins ago. In total 11 calls. Rings three times and then rings off. Have not rung them back.

Keep getting calls from this Local number but no one is on the other end and when I call back it says that this number is not in use. What is this ??

Scam call claiming that I had been in an accident. Refused to confirm their identity. Have blocked the number and reported the call to the ICO.

Received voicemail saying to Call this number before things get worse problems. Immediately called back. No reply. Tried four times. No reply. Eventually was answered. Initially silence then after e a couple seconds heard what sounded like an announcement at a railway station or airport in the background then suddenly went dead. All subsequent attempts to refusal again have failed. .

Called back (masking my number) only to hear a message say the number is not currently in use and is available for sale (BT might have something to say about that?!) and to contact a mobile number - I hung up - this needs to be followed up by someone

Constantly calling every two to three days. I know it's a Manchester number in England getting fed up with the constant calling.
