This number rang at 11.48 this morning. Recorded message (male) purporting to be from BT about suspicious activity on my internet account which was going to be disconnected. I have had these calls before so I just disconnected and blocked the number. Last week I had an unsolicited call from a different number, again a recorded message about something to do with grants for insulation etc. My number is obviously in the hands of yet another group of scammers so expecting a few more!

Asked for me by name required about a ppi claim. They knew my address.They had to ask me which bank it was thru. And very stupidly I gave him my date of birth. If nothing else they are fishing for information to make an identity theft from unsuspecting people.

When I answered the call, the woman at the other end mentioned a company (I can't remember their name), they told me "I've been informed that you were involved in an accident that wasn't your fault. Is that right?" Clearly phishing. I asked "Who informed you?" and was put on hold. I was tempted to see what would happen next but decided to hang up.

Keep calling and hanging up when I answer. When I call them back, they hang up again. I have no clue who they are or what they want, but I d love for the phone calls to stop!

A couple of times a day, I have never had a ny dealings with this company.
Suspect its one of those phone scams with high connection charges - dont answer it all

Twice this number called me. The second time immediately after I cancelled the first call. I refuse to answer any unknown numbers and I have not given whom ever they are my number or given permission to anyone else to do so. SCAM / SPAM Received a text from this number saying there was an issue processing my bill for EE broadband, which I do use. The wording was slightly suspect but the link provided did look like the EE website. I phoned EE directly, it is a phising scam. The website is a fake and they want you to put your details in.

This number when called back tells you that you have dialled an incorrect number. My opinion is by experience that it’s a spam number. Usually trying to sell something or get details from you for insurance or PPI claims. I have blocked now.
