SCAM The person calls and reminds you of a meeting you are supposed to join and that he is sending a link for the meeting, which you can access using a code. As you speak, he sends a code which he asks you to read out to him. He seems to be calling members of various WhatsApp groups. He has a West Africa accent

I rang the number back it’s about PPI saying I had money back in 2019 I told the lady I didn’t receive any money and to remove me from their database She started to raise her voice asking why would they do that when I had received money! I told her I had NOT received any money and to remove me from database. She started to speak I cut her short and said these calls should be removed remove me immediately and hung up. Needless to say I pressed nothing !! I know for a fact mine doesn’t expire until the 2nd September, 2023. They are trying to get you to panic .. Ignore and press nothing !!!!!

My mother has been contacted many times on this and other phone numbers. The message, from the caller is always the same, she tells my mother, first in English and then in Chinese that she has a package waiting for her, to collect from the Chinese embassy. This is clearly a scam call.
