100 a scam The caller was a very poor speaker of English who went through a list of questions as though it was some manner of survey then in order to confirm my thank you gift for taking part in the survey the caller asked me to visit a website and download software called Teamviewer which is software they can use to remote control your computer

I came searching for this number because I received email from them impersonating themselves as Credisprings.uk. They said my loan was accepted and I could have it straight away in my bank account. But at the end, they wanted £70 upfront to release the loan. Its definitely a scam because I went to the company official website and they said they never ask for money upfront. Beware!

Scam mobile number. After i made a flight booking through OPODO i immediately get a txt message saying my credit card was declined and i was to answer YES to stop future declined. Unfortunately i did reply YES. So this could mean they will use my number for future scam attempts. I already checked my phone for any malware (avg scan). Anything else i should do? (already checked bank account no dodgy transactions yet)

Broad Indian accent, difficult to understand but the general gist I got was he wanted my details so he can save me 30-40% off my bill. Had to press for details on what bill he was saving me money on, he stammered and, almost like he was guessing, said my O2 mobile phone bill. Nobody in this house has any O2 devices so be safe - don't give these scumbags any details. Block the number, maybe work out some of your anger by screaming abuse at them as I did.

Trusted to answer as it's a number local to me. Turned out to be an automated message claiming to be from VISA payments to say that my card had been charged £300 to Amazon and £1100 to Western Union, encouraged me to press 1 to dispute charges. Decided it was going to be a phishing scam and hung up.
They seem to get numbers and call them, unsure where they get their private numbers from and the information or not on who may answer. I lady called me saying she had frozen a transaction from going to a offshore account in China. The currency was bitcoin. This was odd as these transactions go to a bit coin wallet then to a debit card that is registered on your account. She did no DPA to verify that I was the account holder. Then she wanted me to download a app I refused so she asked if I have a pc or laptop. I said pc she wanted to screen share. I would do no such things I told her then hug up.

Called this number on what appeared to be a chasing letter for £2,490 from EON, when queried on the call the lady advised it was debt collection service. I did not carry on with the call, checked my account and called EON direct who confirmed this was not from them
