Someone just called from this no. claiming to be from Amazon. They were female with a strong Indian accent. Said someone had tried purchasing a Canon camera on my account last night in Germany. None of my personal details were confirmed with me and they wouldn't let me ask any questions. Obviously their tactic is to rush you in to the "cancellation" process as it's urgent. This is a Visa fraud scam. They tell you there has been unusual activity on you card from a betting company in the USA and to press 1 to talk to the fraud team. AVOID !!!!

Insurance SPAM This number and very similar numbers have been calling me daily for a couple of weeks. I have missed the previous calls but answered today. A very well spoken man said he was calling from some company (I didn't catch the name) to do with my Scottish Widows life insurance. Asked for a "Mr. Raymond"; when informed he had the wrong number, he requested my name to add to their caller registry. I declined, and he tried to tell me something about investing. I ended the call early by saying I had stuff to do. Overall the guy on the other end was very respectful and polite, and had a very mild Indian accent, so I think he might've been legit. Of note, however, is that my number is a Canadian number.

SCAM Have called me twice a day for a month, Im at a loss what to do now. They say they are calling from Life Insurance company and their benefits are better than the company Im with now. When I ask what are the better benefits, they hang up. Not aggressive or rude but annoyingly persistant.
