This was actually just an automated BT text-to-landline service telling me the time slot for my Costco parcel delivery that I was expecting, so this was completely legit for me. It will try ringing you several times until you listen to the text message so just listen and it will stop. However, as it's a generic BT service it is open to abuse but I would advise against blocking it because the message delivery service itself is not a scam, just be aware though that the message you receive could be bogus.

Severn Trent automated call. Called four times. Didn't leave a message, but when I answered an automated voice asked me to press 1 on my phone. I did not do this. I only found out that it was Seven Trent via Twitter. They then told me (four days later) that there had been a temporary drop in water pressure. Why didn't they simply leave a message?
I don't know who this is.

People did someone answer this number? I had few missed calls from this one, probably some call centre robocaller testing my number? I don't answer unknown numbers and they left no message. Had a call at 11.25 today from this number with an Indian sounding man telling me that my computer had been compromised at around 01:00 this morning and they wanted more information from me so that they could investigate the hacker. He gave his address as British Telecom and, since I don't have an account with them, I thought is sounded very like a scam. The fact that the call seems to have come from India made me very suspicious.
