Had a couple of missed calls from this number yesterday. Answered a call from them today. They asked for me by name and said they were called Motor Assist and calling about a car accident. I told them I hadn t been in one and that they d been given the wrong information. They hung up on me without even as much as a goodbye. Number blocked.

The representative of a bank, but not my bank wanted to advise me. He also went simply from the fact that I am with the said bank. I will not mention the name because I think that the man does not really work for the bank. It all sounded very much like sales pitch.

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. I missed a call on my mobile from 01422315229. I called them back from my work phone (As it withholds my number) and the company would not give me their name, what they may have wanted, what they do as a company or how they got a number I ve only had for two days.

4 days agoThey say they are for American tobacco they say they are update ing my files .they have certain details but most are incorrect. An absolute scam they said they are from BAT yet say they got information from public records?????? Needs shutting down and jail operatives .needless to say they got nothing from me.
