These people called concerning PPI. I was foolish enough to reply STOP and it charged my 50 pence. Clearly, this is a scam and these people must be stopped before they de-fraud more users.
They call from this number twice a day under the guise of different company names - Direct Utilities, Business Utilities, Select Utilities, Regional Utilities. They are clearly dumb, because when requested to remove our details from their records and stop calling, they say OK and then don t do it, despite being told the we only have a mailing box address and therefore have no need for utilities. Go back to school, children!

We accepted a call from this company as we were in the process of trying to get a lifeline installed, due to coincidence we ended up with them visiting. Clearly cold-calling/ambulance chasing. Accept at your peril- in person sales technique equally as aggressive and alarmist (no pun intended)!!

SCAM- CLAIMED TO BE HMRC -THEY SAID THEIR WAS A TAX FRAUD IN MY NAME. i ASKED THEM WHAT MY NAME WAS. SHE (NOT ENGLISH) SAID SHE WAS NOT ALLOWED TO GIVE ME THAT I SHOULD GIVE HER MY DETAILS NOW OR SHE WOULD SEND THE POLICE IMMEDIATELY. I TOLD HER i WOULD PUT THE KETTLE ON FOR WHEN THEY ARRIVED! I say this because only my family know my mobile number and I won t give it out to ANYONE else.
