Missed a call to my mobile from this unknown local Nottingham number. Suspicious as I haven't given my number to any but a handful of friends, and my doctor/dentist/pharmacy. No message left. Another caller-trace service says this number was first detected 11 days ago, but there were no reports about it. When I checked 10 minutes ago, *this* service said there had been 16 searches in the last 10 days. Now when I've returned 20 minutes later it says there have been 20 searches. This is a suspected nuisance call. On picking up there was a recorded message asking for verification details. I immediately put the phone down. I have had a couple of calls from another Bridgend number in the last few weeks. 01656 723940 seems to belongs to a Mr Steven Walters of Dennis Place, Bryncethin, Bridgend. If so he needs to know it is illegal to call anyone who is TPS registered.

02:07 on 06/12/2022 Text message from +44 7925 278247, as follows - Evri: Please use [URL withheld] to reschedule a redelivery since we were unable to deliver your package. Parts of this was in bold to make it seem urgent. I'm not expecting any delivery from Evri. But I checked with the Evri app anyway. Nothing showing! I suspect this is a scam, taking advantage of the Christmas shopping period.
This is a genuine person no scams to be seen ????

Call received 07.58 on a Saturday morning. They spoke and when I answered they immediately hung up.
Claimed to be from Amazon and that someone had attempted to purchase about £500 of goods on my account. I hung up, put the number on my BT blacklist and checked my Amazon account which was OK.

Idiot Asian who called me "Mam" (I'm a male) saying he was from BT and that I have had problems with bad activity on my broadband service. I don't use BT and he didn't know my name. Told him to do us all a favour and terminate himself.
01273004401 called my landline today 15/05/23 at 17:59 hrs. Picked up the call and a male voice said "Goodby". Not calling it back as number not known to me. Possible SCAMMERS. Have recorded the number and deleted it from my landline. Classed as "ANNOYING"

TAXES / HMRC - Auto voice said I was going to be fined and I owe money because of a non payment to HMRC. I hung up.
We were awaiting a phone call from our GP. This number rang and when we called back it said there would be a charge to connect if we dialled 3. The number was dead!!! We can only hope we have not been charged.

spam call told me from housing and can fix anything in house for free. we are a dentist. told them registered to the ICO the man instantly apologised and hung up (we are actually registered to the ico) - they get scared as you can sue the company calling as we have not given permission for these calls
